Story Plot
Tessie Green had never even heard of Vixia when the letters started dropping on the doormat at Sacred Heart Home. Addressed in blue ink on yellowish parchment with a red seal, they are swiftly confiscated by her grisly directors. Then, on Tessie's twelfth birthday, a great giant of a man called Verne Conebush bursts in with some astonishing news: Tessie Green is a witch, and she has a place at Vixia, Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
