Terminator: Awakening is a 2015 American science fiction action film directed by Joseph Kosinski, written by Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg serving as producers. James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd also serve as producers. It is the fifth installment in the Terminator franchise, though it serves as a direct sequel to The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with the other Terminator films and works seen as occurring in alternate timelines. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn and Earl Boen reprising in their iconic roles of T-800 "Model 101", Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese, and Dr. Peter Silberman, respectively, alongside Jeremy Shada, Jessica DiCicco, Keith David, Michael Jai White, Patrick Wilson, Ron Perlman, with Byung-hun Lee and Charlie Sheen.
