Story 1: Single mother, Amber Byrnes brings along her daughter, Nicole to her hometown of Denver to stay with her father, Bob, where she meets an old flame, Dave Tyrell. Story 2: Dave's best friend, Clay Carson, a widowed father, comes along for the holidays with his daughter, Jill. Story 3: A young boy, Jordan Howell has a strained relationship with his workaholic father, Tim, who has hardly any time for his son, since his wife passed away. Story 4: Divorced mother, Dana Roberts brings along her daughter, Vanessa, where she later befriends Amber, and along the way, she meets her old flame, Jesse Lane. Story 5: High school sweethearts, Charlie Presley and Juliette Mathis come to terms with the fact that Juliette is pregnant with Charlie's child. Story 6: Divorced father, Martin Rydell befriends Amber, and introduces his son, George to Nicole. Story 7: Daisy Foster's mother passes away from cancer, and she goes off to live with her father in Denver, where she also befriends Amber. Story 8: Coming from Mexico, Miguel Davis, a bachelor, wants nothing more than to find his Miss Right, and he's presented with his old flame, Monica Weaver.
