Tempest is a 2031 superhero film featuring the DC Comics hero of the same name. It is the thirty-seventh film in the DCEU and the fourth film in Phase 5. It is a film in the Aquaman franchise. It was released on February 28, 2031. Some years after the events of Aquaman III, and now Garth has become a fully fledged superhero as Tempest. While living his life in Atlantis, he comes across a man in need of help, a marine engineer by the name of Jonah Payne. While helping the man, Payne becomes infected with a strange symbiote which slowly turns him into an eel like creature, who in turn can infect others. Garth must stop his reign of terror before he conquers Atlantis and the surface world.
