Synopsis

In New York, mysterious radioactive ooze has mutated four sewer turtles into talking, upright-walking, crime-fighting ninjas. The intrepid heroes -- Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo -- are trained in the Ninjutsu arts by their rat sensei, Splinter. When a villainous gang of mutants shows up and spreads crime across the city, it's time for the Turtles to come out of their shells and fight.

Description of Leatherhead (Ragin' Cajun Gator):

Originally, Leatherhead was nothing more than an infantile alligator that had escaped a robbery at a pet store and found his way into the sewers. While in the sewers, Leatherhead was found by a pair of TCRI Utroms, who decided to bring the creature to their headquarters.
