My own personal idea for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated show. My idea would be for it to be animated by the incredible Studio Mir in a style reminiscent of their work on Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender. I would want the show to also he similar as a family show that tackles mature topics and themes and has in-depth complex charactersread more

zestfulmaple Casey Jones is a 17 year old teen vigilante who became disillusioned with the Justice System after his mother was killed and his father was put into a coma from getting caught in the middle of a gang war between The Foot and the Purple Dragons, and no action was taken. He doesn't trust anyone else to dispense his justice but himself. When he first found the turtles he told them to stay out of his way but April saw the anger and pain beneath him and convinced him that the Turtles were taking a worthy fight against the crime in the city. As the show goes on, Casey is revealed to have a kind heart, a playful and competitive attitude and just misses having a family, and finds that with the turtles, April and Splinter, even developing a close friendly rivalry with Raph. The voice actor should have those angry outbursts that hide an underlying deep sense of pain. However when the layers peel away, the voice actor should have that playfulness and that competitive spirit as well as that sense of longing for a family again
