My own personal idea for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated show. My idea would be for it to be animated by the incredible Studio Mir in a style reminiscent of their work on Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender. I would want the show to also he similar as a family show that tackles mature topics and themes and has in-depth complex charactersread more

zestfulmaple April O'Neil is a 17 year old burgeoning reporter, trying to get a big scoop that would expose the city to the major crime rings going on in the city. This story leads her to discovering the turtles fighting The Foot. They take her back to their home in the Sewers, and they tell her about their fight with the Foot. After the weirdness of giant talking turtles wears off, she sees that their fight is doing something and becomes a close ally and friend to the Turtles, and trains with Splinter herself to better aid, while still reporting on The Foot to take the fight to them on 2 fronts. The voice actress should have ease portraying a strong but young woman. She should have a fiery and determined attitude but be soft and caring as well. She should have the range to sell the many complex emotions April goes through over the course of the show
