It take place since after Super Mario Bros. and the Curse of Frankenstein, were both the Monster, and Ygor had escape from the castle were the villagers have been blow up the castle. Until then the leaders of Splinter Clan and their friends have arrived at Frankenstein House, and meet Dr. Ludwing Frankenstein were he must be another descendant of Henrick Frankenstein. And then Ludwig meets Ygor were he arrived too and convinced he need his help to find the Monster were he's in. Later at night Dr. Ludwing Frankenstein was told so he wants to operate Frankenstein's Monster head, and giving him a new brain by the ghost of his great-great-great grandfather Baron Henrick Frankenstein.
