  • otsutsuki The film begins in Japan in 1986, we meet Hamato Yoshi, a descendant of a powerful Chinese family that command the Triad, he was part of this organization until he regretted the pain he caused in the past, he now lives a peaceful life with his wife Tang Shen , but the peace doesn't last long as Oroko Saki a member of the Yakuza (future Clan of the Foot) appears to make Yoshi's life hell during the fight between the two and the destruction of Yoshi's house his wife is killed, and Saki runs away but staying with many scars and a burn on his body, Yoshi moves to New York to try a new one he buys four turtles to have a little bit of joy in their lives he names them after his favorite renaissance artists, until a Yoshi sees them a movement of what would be the now Foot Clan to follow them and confront them a green goo that was in a vial is spilled on Yoshi and his turtles, they fall into the sewers and when Yoshi wakes up he is now a giant rat and his turtles with start to get smart, we cut to the present day (2022) where we see FBI detective April O'Neil investigating a murder he links to the foot clan, she mentions to her partner Kevin Laird that she was once a programmer and already work for a renowned scientist Baxter Stockman who may be connected to the foot clan, when they go to his apartment they are surrounded by ninjas from the foot clan but they are saved by four shadows, she starts to investigate what the four shadows have been doing during the last six months, we discover a little about April's life she was the daughter of a renowned physicist who after doing some "work" for Saki is killed leaving his daughter alone and being raised in an orphanage, while Saki now called Shredder wants to start his plan to establish his dictatorship over the world and make the world kneel at his feet, so he summons Stockman to create a gas that will leave people with hallucinations and fears, while they explode the barriers that prevent the island of manhattan from sinking to that would be while in moscow the red square exploded and triggers indications that both nations attacked each other generating the third world war, the turtles have to learn the balance between their mind and spirit and learn to work as a team to prevent this when they are saving a pizzeria for O'Neil who together with Donnie discover the Shredder's plan and hatch a plan to stop it with evidence about the setup, the final battle takes place in Japan at Yoshi's old house with the house destroyed and sakura trees falling their petals, after being defeated and going Saki is sent to the Pentagon where he is trapped there, in the final scene everyone is hiding in the Turtles' hideout and celebrate this by eating pizza, and in the victory of the Clan of the foot one figure sits on Saki's throne saying the war has just begun they come out of the shadows and reveals how Karai is the Shredder's daughter. Post Credits Scene: A guard takes Shredder's dinner at the prison and sees him drawing hieroglyphics on the wall and as he whispers that he is coming and on the wall a word is written KRAANG...
