Description of Starfire (Koriand'r / Kory Anders):
Koriand'r comes to Earth by chance after escaping an alien ship transporting her as a slave. Using her powers, she manages to land in broad daylight in the city of San Francisco, where Robin and Cyborg help her and give her shelter. She is the second Titan to join Robin and learns to speak English thanks to her race's enhanced learning capacities and the vast collection of books Robin owns.
