    Although it seems like none of the actors from the original were American (from what I can find) all of them spoke American english (from what I can remember. It's been quite a few months since I've seen it). So I don't see the point in remaking it for an American audience.

    @rwhite18 I was just a bit confused. It seemed like the purpose of the thread was to reimagine it for American audiences, but the original movie seemed like it was already created for an American audience since none of the actors had any accents (from what I can remember). If it wasn't for this thread I may not have realized that the cast and crew were not American to begin with.
