A firm but well meaning coach, unlike the original who was obsessed with winning and was at times selfish and childish. This iteration of Jerry Stanton passively allows Sam to be recruited by the Buzzards due to him growing tired of his daughter’s arrogance and superiority complex. Coaches the Hurricanes, tries to bond with his other daughter Emma.
