And just in time for the story's MC, Annabel Coyne to arrive home from her prestigious boarding school. Annabel takes it upon herself to solve this mystery. She heads forward with a snarky attitude, an excitable childhood friend, and the firm belief that she's the smartest person in any room. Will her questions lead her nowhere, or far deeper into this town's secrets than she ever imagined? Will this only make her more outcasted by her town, and does Annabel even care?
