Not intervening would have been wrong, no matter the consequences
On a lonely island in the Pacific Ocean, there is a lighthouse where four uneventful keepers quietly work. But, one evening, a young woman is found stranded on the beach by one of them. Although this one is very different from a "normal" human, the guardians come to her rescue, and this one helps them with her great strength while waiting for the communications to be functional again. However, later, a group of terrible criminals land on the island, with the idea of eliminating the "panther". The guards won't let that happen, although the young woman will prove perfectly capable of defending herself and protecting them from those criminals who made a big mistake by coming here armed !
