Story Plot

Now this may not be the plot, but it’s something that I just wanna say. Something that annoys me is that we haven’t gotten a solo live action Superman movie since 2013, and it pisses me the hell off. So I’ve decided to make this, it may not be an actual movie, but it’s a movie that we need.

  • Note: please don’t cast David Corenswet just because he looks attractive. I don’t look for that in a Superman fancast, I look for someone who embodies kindness and strength. David just looks like someone you’d find on a shampoo bottle.
  • @batsonjacksont Superman is tougher to cast than most people realize, I think. You need someone affable and earthly. He has to be quintessentially Midwestern after all (unfortunately, many interpret that as strictly Caucasian.) You need someone with serious comedic chops too to make the Clark Kent persona work. That was a sticking point with me regarding Henry Cavill’s portrayal. It’s just cold and authoritative and Cavill is generally better suited to antiheroes or possibly outright villains in my opinion. I can’t actually think of a strong candidate off the top of my head right now.
  • @nathanbates I actually think that Cavill is pretty much perfect for the role. Though I do I agree he was very cold for most of his movie appearances, (especially BVS) I think if given the right material he could totally rock as The Man of Steel
