Lex Luthor has been plagued by the existence of Superman for over a decade. He's been brought to the brink of insanity and back. But now he's finally going to get his revenge. Our story starts as Lex Luthor has been elected as President of the United States of America. Clark and Lois try to cope with the fact that they're living in an America run by Luthor, but they're interrupted when President Luthor labels Superman as an enemy of the state, offering a $1 billion bounty for him, and permitting anyone and everyone to bring down Superman, even with lethal results, with no legal repercussions. Description of Hope Taya:

Hope is one of Lex Luthor's trusted bodyguards, but after Luthor becomes President, Hope's mind is awakened to his true self. She looks to Lois Lane to help her, and she tells of Sasha Green, Luthor's combat instructor, whom he murdered. The story becomes something Lois knows she could use to take Luthor down, but they need proof. Clark's and Lois' hunt for the truth becomes a hunt for them when villains from all over try to take Superman down. Luthor eventually finds out about Hope's betrayal and abducts her, causing Clark and Lois to take the fight to the White House.
