Lex Luthor has been plagued by the existence of Superman for over a decade. He's been brought to the brink of insanity and back. But now he's finally going to get his revenge. Our story starts as Lex Luthor has been elected as President of the United States of America. Clark and Lois try to cope with the fact that they're living in an America run by Luthor, but they're interrupted when President Luthor labels Superman as an enemy of the state, offering a $1 billion bounty for him, and permitting anyone and everyone to bring down Superman, even with lethal results, with no legal repercussions. Description of Benjamin Krullen (Reactron):

Holding a grudge against the Kryptonians, after encounters with Clark's cousins, the ex-soldier teams up with Metallo to take down Superman. Metallo tells Reactron not to hurt Lois Lane, but it's Metallo who ends up wounding Lois, while blaming Superman. Both of them fueled with hatred towards the Kryptonians, they track him to the Fortress of Solitude and attack it, destroying the Sunstone simulator storing the holographic simulations of Superman's Kryptonian parents. Metallo is defeated by Lois Lane, but Reactron escapes to later be taken down by Supergirl and Power Girl.
