Synopsis

Super Mario: To Hell With Fame: Fall of the Plumber Hero is a anime drama series created by Nintendo, this anime is based and inspired by the To Hell with Fame fanfic series by Luminous Kyo, it only contains the first part of the series and will continue with the second and third part. Set after Super Mario Adventures Season 2 and before Season 3, ever since Mario and Luigi has gone back to the Mushroom Kingdom after a month's break in the university, their lives have been good... Except for one person, the red plumber's life is forever, right...? Well, if Mario didn't have any inner demons to deal with.

Description of Mario (THWF version) (MarMar, Big Bro):

Mario (Also known as MarMar by his friends or Big Bro by Luigi) is the main protagonist of the SM: THWF series. In this anime, Mario struggles to cope with his inner demons while he still has hope with Luigi, however, he has to wear arm-warmers to cover his self-wounds, to hide his own bad habits, and it causes him to not only hurt him but to worry his brother, Mario has to tell the whole truth to Luigi or their brotherly love will be shattered.
