In this retelling of the super mario bros series, twin Brooklyn plumbers Mario and Luigi are struggling working-class underdogs mocked by everyone in brookyln (including thier former boss foreman spike and rival plumbers wario and waluigi), when they fixed a pipe, the brothers discovered a pipe that people haven seen before which sucked them into the mushroom kingdom which they had to go a adventure to rescue princess peach from a wanted married bowser!
