Lena Hart, a former pop superstar searching for reinvention, agrees to take part in the ambitious “Summer Sounds Project,” an experimental reality show that brings together artists from different generations to live together, write music, and build a collaborative performance. The production pairs Lena with Noah Vale, a young singer-songwriter from the social media era — he has raw talent and an intimate stage presence. Their forced coexistence leads to conflict, growth, and performances: rehearsal sessions, challenges imposed by the producers, and solo numbers that showcase each of their artistic identities — until, gradually, they begin to find a shared voice. At the heart of the film is the mentor-apprentice relationship that develops between them, alongside their struggle against media manipulation and their search for artistic authenticity.
