The film's primary antagonists are the white Martians, who disguise themselves as a human superhero group called the HyperClan, drawing inspiration from the Peacemaker series' butterfly plotline. ARGUS agents Johnny Canamos and Amelia Harcourt are integral from the beginning, while KGBeast takes Katana's place on the squad. Unlike the original, this film features a higher body count among the squad members, emphasizing the lethal stakes of their mission. With the HyperClan posing a significant threat, Martian Manhunter makes a crucial cameo, stepping in to assist in the climactic battle.
