Being arrested for her actions beyond her control was just the beginning for Vanessa Kapatelis. Transferred to Belle Reve Prison after falling under Amanda Waller's intimidating radar, Vanessa sees another side of the metahuman world, where threats are 'repurposed' as potential government aid. Countless supervillains are held captive and are willing to do anything for a chance to get out early, even joining Waller's mysterious, top-secret effort: Task Force X, the Suicide Squad. Even if she doesn't see this as her true nature, the Silver Swan doesn't deny that perhaps this is her only chance to get back into her life, while also forming unexpected but important alliances for her. Because upon realizing that not only was she chosen to triumph, but also because she is considered an easy “discard” if she fails, Kapatelis will have to decide whether or not it is worth continuing to play with death. 'Suicide Squad' marks the first project in this universe classified as R-Rated, with the participation of numerous villains from previous productions.
