Synopsis

In the wake of a consequential Presidential election, five tightly knit multiracial families and a mutual friend of theirs live in inviting down-home progressive cities in a far backsliding conservative state. Arming themselves, they lead their neighbors in defending their homes from militant Right-wing terrorist legions, and they must hold on until vital aid can be delivered from the President-elect.

Description of Jacob Torrance Ripper (Colonel "Jack Ripper"):

With the ill-begotten rank of Colonel, Jacob “Jack” Torrance Ripper is taking joint command of the Black Phantom and White Ghost divisions of the ACL forces in Texas. Intolerant of failure or difference, Ripper is psychotic and bellicose to the end as he seeks personal glory at the expense of the cause.
