After helping Bogie deal with his situation, Stratford moves to Chicago to lay low for a while after being wanted by Weston Mayer. Eventually, he is requested by a "certain someone" to help her in this gambling situation. Eventually, when the case proves to be much more complex than expected... Stratford goes to extreme lengths to tie up every loose end and make it out alive.
