Synopsis

A standalone spin-off/prequel of the 2024 Australian-American horror movie 'Sting'. Set long ago and far away from modern NYC in Edo period Japan, the story follows an emotionally fraught peasant family living in a small village that becomes menaced by a member of the same species of alien spiders as Sting.

Description of Midori:

A woman who lives in the village who is seen as odd and is the subject of mean rumors both because she is still unwed and her hobby of collecting strange plants. She has a past with the slightly older Yūna, but both are cagey about it.
