A man by the name of Jack Torrance, along with his wife Wendy and son Danny, look after the Overlook Hotel in the off season. Due to cabin fever as well as supernatural influence, the flawed mild-mannered Jack soon becomes a deranged maniac trying to kill his family. A re-adaptation of the book that follows the story more closely.
