After fifteen years of relentless police work, Hong Kong Inspector Tequila Yuen retires and moves to Seattle to win back his estranged wife, Teresa—only to discover she's engaged to Captain Larry Cain. When Cain is kidnapped by a ruthless corporate "troubleshooter" named Waxman, hired by fugitive CEO Terence Fearing, Tequila reluctantly teams up with his romantic rival to rescue him. Their unlikely alliance ignites a bloody war through Seattle's underworld, pitting them against Waxman's mercenaries and a Chinese-American gang led by the vengeful A-Dawg. As the body count rises, Tequila must choose between his old life of violence and the new beginning he desperately craves—but first, he has to survive the night.
