Galen Marek, codenamed Starkiller, serves as the secret Sith Apprentice to Darth Vader himself during the reign of The Galactic Empire. As Vader's assassin, Starkiller hunts down Jedi survivors of Order 66 on his Master's command, but when he is betrayed by his Master after Emperor Palpatine found out about his existence, Galen joins the Rebellion and sacrifices himself to save the Rebel leaders onboard the Death Star. Later, a clone of him is created on Kamino and that clone joins the Rebel Alliance in the place of his original self, but is also on a mission to discover who, or what, he really is.
