Description of HK-47 (The Assassin Droid):

HK-47 is a hunter-killer droid that was found damaged in a compartment aboard the Ebon Hawk by the Jedi Exile Meetra Surik. During this period, HK-50 assassin droids, a newer version of the HK unit, became active in the galaxy, working as bounty hunters and saboteurs. Surik repairs HK-47, who recognizes her as his new master and accompanies her in order to find the source of the HK-50s, whose very existence he considers an insult to himself. HK-47 also aids Surik in her search for the lost Jedi Masters and even advises her on techniques to more efficiently kill Jedi so that Surik could better defend herself, which at times Meetra finds, plainly speaking, 'appalling'.
