When Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan is captured by Darth Vader, a young Luke Skywalker joins forces with wise old Jedi, Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi, a smuggler pilot of the Millennium Falcon named Han Solo, his Wookie co-pilot named Chewbacca or Chewie and two droids on the quest to rescue her and deliver the plans of the sinister planet destroying battle station, the Death Star to the rebel base
