The Squadron Supreme were a team of super heroes from Earth-Squadron (also called Earth-S), a parallel reality of Earth-616. The team initially formed to stop a mad alien robot. They clashed with the Avengers on several occasions. During one of these battles, they became aware that US President Rockefeller of their reality had come under the control of the Serpent Crown.[1] They publicly denounced the government, causing Rockefeller to be ousted from office.[2] Nighthawk was then elected new President of the United States. After the Overmind and Null the Living Darkness left their world in chaos, Hyperion and Power Princess decided that the best option was to take control of the world. - Marvel Fandom
