Spiderman: Bloodline

Spider-Man: Bloodline, based on the comic book written by filmmaker J.J. Abrams along with his son Henry Abrams in 2019 and 2020, but adapted for the big screen.

The story begins with a devastating battle in New York. Spider-Man faces off against Cadaverous, a cyborg with an army of mechanical monsters. During the confrontation, Mary Jane Watson dies protecting Peter, and Peter himself is seriously injured, losing his right arm. Torn apart by guilt and grief, Peter decides to hang up the Spider-Man suit for good. Doce años después: The plot takes a leap in time. Peter Parker has become a war correspondent who constantly travels the world, using a robotic prosthetic arm and completely neglecting his son, Benjamin Richard Parker. Ben is a rebellious teenager who suffers from bullying and lives under the care of an aging Aunt May. Ben is completely unaware of his father's superhero past, and resents his constant absence. The discovery of powers: One day, after a bullying incident at school, Ben is sent to detention. There he demonstrates his skills for the first time: his hands get stuck to the director's table. Upon returning home, Aunt May decides it's time she knew the truth. He takes him to the attic and shows him his father's old Spider-Man suit. When he puts it on, Ben discovers that the suit fits his body and begins to experiment with his new powers, aided by a classmate named Faye, a young punk-style activist. The return of Cadaverous: Cadaverous has not forgotten the Parkers. Their true objective is to obtain Peter's DNA (or that of his lineage) to feed the organic tissue that keeps a mysterious figure alive inside a capsule (which turns out to be a bio-mechanical version of Mary Jane herself).
