In New York City, mild-mannered architect Peter Piper (Rowan Atkinson) unexpectedly falls in love with Jennifer "Jenny" Johnson (Uma Thurman) after stopping a purse snatcher on the subway. Their whirlwind romance takes a bizarre turn when Jenny reveals she's actually G-Girl, a powerful superhero whose abilities came from a mysterious meteorite. As Jenny's possessive behavior spirals out of control, Peter's life is thrown into chaos. After ending their relationship, he becomes the target of G-Girl's superpowered revenge, losing his job and his dignity. Desperate for help, Peter reluctantly teams up with Professor Bedlam (Eddie Izzard), Jenny's former boyfriend and sworn nemesis, to strip her of her powers. The plan backfires spectacularly when another meteorite grants Peter's co-worker Hannah Lewis (Anna Faris) powers of her own, leading to an explosive showdown between two superheroines that tears through New York. Blending superhero action, slapstick comedy, and romantic chaos, Spider-Plant Man follows Peter as he discovers that surviving love can be even harder than saving the world.
