One year later around the holiday season, a lonely and embittered Peter is approached in Reykjavík by a vigilante squad called the Wild Pack and reluctantly agrees to help them take down a assassin called the Arachne but when he finds out that the target is Jessica Drew, a ageless yet tragic individual with similar powers to Peter and more to her past than previously thought, he ends up forming a unlikely bond with her that encourages him to take his life back. Meanwhile, Aunt May, MJ, Ned and Happy, whose lives have not changed for the best in Peter’s absence, team up with the Spider Society and Matt Murdock on a journey to find a way to clear Peter’s name all the while psychopathic businesswoman Norma Osborn hires a group of old foes and a vengeful shadow from Peter’s family history to capture both Peter and Jessica for sinister purposes.
