This Valentine’s Day… remember Gwen
Years after the tragedy that changed his life, Peter Parker (Andy Samberg), now married to Mary Jane Watson (Zooey Deschanel), reflects on his college years and the love he lost. Through his memories, a younger Peter (Mason Thames) meets and falls for his classmate Gwen Stacy (Mckenna Grace). As their relationship grows, Peter struggles to balance his double life as the masked hero Spider-Man while keeping his identity secret from the person he cares about most. Meanwhile, another new student, Mary Jane Watson (Sophia Lillis), enters their lives, forming a friendship that will later shape Peter’s future. But Peter’s world begins to crumble when Norman Osborn (Crispin Glover) emerges as the Green Goblin—voiced by William Dafoe—setting in motion the tragic events of Valentine’s Day, the day Peter shared his happiest memory with Gwen… and the day he lost her forever. All while in the present a familiar villain began a familiar plot.
