When ruthless criminal Mac Gargan murders Uncle Ben, Peter is consumed by rage and hunts him down, leaving him for dead. But Gargan survives and is rebuilt through a secret experiment, becoming the Scorpion. Learning his lesson, Peter rises as Spider-Man to protect his city.
