follows Peter Parker at his most exhausted, torn between his commitment to Mary Jane and the seductive freedom offered by Black Cat, while the rise of the Vulture—an embittered man destroyed by obsession—shows Peter the cost of abandoning responsibility. In saving the city, Peter learns that being Spider-Man doesn’t guarantee happiness, only the certainty of doing what’s right.
