After a crazy adventure in an alternate universe, Peter Parker finds himself back home with MJ. But having altered the entire timeline of his universe by curing Norman Osborn and Dr. Octavius, he finds himself in a very different place. A place where he and MJ never got together and instead with her marrying J. Jonah Jameson's son. But when his own universe's Dr. Connors finds himself transformed into The Lizard, Peter must fight to restore Connors to his old self while tackling with the fact he and MJ are no longer together.
