It is the eighteenth film in the Perfect Marvel Universe (PMU). The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Michael Keaton, Aaron Eckhart, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, Jason Bateman, Katherine McNamara, Dove Cameron, Timothee Chalamet and Matthew McConaughey. The plot of the film follows the teenager Peter Parker who gains spider-like abilities and fights crime as Spider-Man, while also attempting to live an ordinary life and battle The Lizard, Vulture and Shocker.
