On the island of Puerto Rico, a wave of livestock killings and the death of a child has attracted the attention of an investigator. Named Kevin Wolf, he meets and interviews locals, many of which had terrifying encounters with an unknown predator. But Kevin suspects it’s nothing more than feral dogs and invasive monkeys. He then meets one local named Abby, who’s also investigating for she thinks it’s the work of a mad man for she happens to be the aunt of the child that was killed. Their search for the answers leads them to a frightening conclusion, that the the rumours of an unknown predator may not be tall tales after all and it may be part of a conspiracy, for they are not the only ones on its trail. This movie is inspired by true events and based on the real world folklore of a creature known as El chupacabra.
