The Crest of Destiny (known as the Crest of Fate in the original Japanese version) is notable in that it's one of two crests that does not have any natural wielders in Digimon canon, though its Digimental counterpart has been called upon to bestow great power. It can be presumed that the Crest of Destiny represents those who have destiny as their defining trait—people who are devoted to their path and hard-set on making the future of their dreams the present. Those who wield the Crest of Destiny must learn how to have faith in the coming future and never give up on their dreams, but also how to be flexible and work with whatever the future brings even if it goes against what they thought.
