Description of The Ghost (NOT LITERAL; Offscreen Character):
A character who is often referred to, but never quite makes it onscreen. Sometimes just casually mentioned, but eventually played for comic effect as the camera (or lead character) just fails to catch them. If a disembodied voice says—"Yes Ma, I'm coming!"—they're The Voice.
