Reader Rabbit is a grayish blue rabbit and the protagonist of the series. He is very helpful, smart, and nice, and enjoys reading and going on adventures with his friends, especially his best friends Sam the Lion and Mat the Mouse. He usually wears his signature red and blue single-stripe sweater, a purple bow tie and straw hat or a red shirt and blue jeans.
