The lean and mean guardian of Angel Island and the Master Emerald, Knuckles proves to all both his strength and dedication to his life's purpose. Despite his loner attitude, he is loyal to whomever he considers a friend and is serious, dignified, and honest, however being raised in isolation does mean he is quite naïve and gullible as well as extremely stubborn and short-tempered to the point of contention with both friend and foe. He was an enemy of Sonic, but now the 2 are simply friendly rivals. His new archnemesis would be Rouge The Bat, whose sassy attitude clashes with his straightforward and serious disposition, but the 2 of them would learn how to appreciate each other's presence.
