Lord Mordred Hood comes from a long line of advisors to the ruling family of the Kingdom of Mercia. Ever the cynical opportunist, as soon as Eggman launched his takeover Mordred quickly seized power via a mix of shrewd cunning and his natural hypnosis and aligned himself with Eggman with the doctor giving him a cybernetic suit that Mordred can fit his snake body through.
