"Far away on the Planet Mobius lies a kingdom of Hedgehogs and a Kingdom of Squirrels who both lived in peace for a long time, until a mad scientist named Dr. Julian Ivo Robotnik and his assistants, Dr. Snively Ivo Robotnik and Dr. Starline, unleash their robot army on both Kingdoms and steal the Master Emerald and kidnap the royal families. The prince of the Hedgehog Kingdom named Sonic the Hedgehog teams up with a former princess who's now an engineer named Sally Acorn and a team up of outcasts in order to find the Emerald and save everyone from the hands of Dr. Robotnik and his Robots. While on their journey, they bond with each other and form friendships and relationships, and Sonic will learn about responsibility and what it means to truly defend the ones they love."
