Eggman creates a virus called the Metal Virus to turn everyone on Mobius into robotic slaves called Zombots, but it grows beyond his control and spreads throughout the planet. The Deadly Six plot to control the Zombots to destroy everything Sonic cares about. Sonic, his friends, & his enemies must put aside their differences and work together to stop the Deadly Six and hopefully create a cure to combat the Metal Virus.
