Sonic the Hedgehog has been killed by a powerful being known as Infinite who holds the power of the Phantom Ruby and the Chaos Emeralds. After Sonic's demise, Dr. Eggman has conquered the entire world with his massive empire, the Chaos Emeralds and the Super Emeralds under his possession! During the course of global domination, a lone survivior (your Custom Character) joins a large resistance against Dr. Eggman's new world order and Infinite's unlimited powers of Chaos. With the Custom Hero's newfound abilities and positive outlook, he/she inspires all of Sonic's friends (Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, Blaze, Silver and others) that they can work together, gather the emeralds and save the world, while uncovering hope that Sonic the Hedgehog may still be alive.
