The final chapter of the Beyond Worlds saga. After the events of Beyond Worlds 2, strange things have been happening over the next five years. The Space Colony Ark was mysteriously destroyed, random vortexes have opened in space, and Black Arm troops have been spotted roaming around the Earth. It all culminates in 2025, the Black Arms attack Mobius City and the Shroobs attack the Mushroom Kingdom. Two small factions are formed after the attack: Sonic is sent to the Pokemon dimension and teams up with a grown-up Ash Ketchum and a returning Mario, alongside newcomer Samus Aran, as they search for a Chaos Emerald detected in that world. Meanwhile, Shadow gets sent to the Mushroom Kingdom, rendezvous with Luigi, and unites with newcomer Mega Man to also search for the Chaos Emeralds. Once the two factions reunite, they combine forces as they're determined to scour the Omniverse for the Chaos Emeralds, all in order to stop whoever sicced the Black Arms and the Shroobs upon them.
