“I’m Real [Murder Remix]” is the fourth single by Ja Rule featuring Jennifer Lopez from the release of his fourth album Pain Is Love and the first single from Jennifer Lopez' remix collection J-To-Tha-L-O. The song is essentially a Part II-style remix in that the song was completely re-written and re-produced while maintaining the same lyrical concept of the original track. Although only the original track credits were included in all inlay material at the time of the song’s release, the song was in fact rewritten by 7 Aurelius, Irv Gotti and Cory Rooney, with additional credit for Ja Rule per his rap section and Rick James for the sample of his song “Mary Jane”.
